Overview
This is a static website. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking tools and loads no third-party content: fonts, images and scripts are served from our own server. The web calculator runs entirely in your browser; inputs are not transmitted.
Hosting and server log files
When you visit the website, the web server processes technically necessary data in server log files: IP address, date and time, requested address, amount of data transferred, referrer, and browser and operating-system information. The purpose is the secure and stable provision of the website. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation). Log data is not combined with other data and is deleted after a short period unless needed to investigate a security incident.

Contact by email
If you email us, we process your details (email address, name, content) to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding). We delete the data once the enquiry has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
Contact form
When you use the contact form, we process your topic, name, email address, optionally your company and your message in order to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry relates to a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding). The message is sent by email to our mailbox info [at] jetpallet.app and is not stored on the web server; the only recipient is JetPallet. We delete it once the enquiry has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
To prevent spam we use an invisible check field, a minimum completion time and a limit on requests per IP address. For this we store, for at most 24 hours, only timestamps linked to an encrypted hash of the IP address – not the IP address itself and no content. No third-party services (such as captchas) are used.
Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is: Der Hamburgische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit (Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information), Ludwig-Erhard-Straße 22, 20459 Hamburg, Germany.
Privacy in the app
- The JetPallet app collects no personal data, sends no telemetry and contains no tracking.
- The Mac App Store version is shielded by macOS, without network access; it only accesses files you open or save yourself.
- Projects, libraries and settings are stored locally on your Mac. Barcode recognition from photos runs directly on your Mac, with no upload.
- Purchase and subscription run through the Mac App Store, governed by Apple’s privacy policy; we receive no personal payment data.
